Description of Artwork:
I create bugs and animals through a layering process that includes Micron drawing and stippling, followed by applying Inktense, and finally, I re-stipple with Microns again.
I create my acrylic on canvas by layering different shapes and textures in geometric shapes.
Artist Biography:
My name is Amanda Scruggs. I am a self-taught, Midland artist. I work with Micron pens and Inktense to create realistic animals and bugs. I also create geometric works in acrylic on canvas.
