Description of Artwork:
I use wool fibres to create the effects of layering color, creating texture and providing depth. To create my arts I am using only my fingers, tweezers, scissors and iron. When a piece is completed, I press It with glass to remain firmly in place; after which they are nicely framed.
Artist Biography:
I was born in Kazakhstan during soviet period. I loved to draw and paint when I was a kid. I used to paint watercolour, oil and acrylic. I moved to America in 2012. And later I discovered wool as an artistic medium and was fascinated by technique of wool painting. To create my arts, I use a unique technique working with high quality dyed wool. The images are crafted by layering wool fibres atop each other on flat surface. I don’t use any glue, needles, water or paint.
