My primary medium is intaglio printmaking where I create etchings pressed from copper plates with a printing press. I also draw, paint, and deal in digital media.
Artist Biography:
| Andrew Lawson is an artist based out of Midland, Texas. He holds a Masters in Fine Art in printmaking from Texas Tech University. Drawn to printmaking as his primary studio practice, Andrew loves the challenges it provides as there are always new techniques to explore. Printmaking help combines his loves of process-oriented art, attention to detail, and drawing. Andrew’s art has been extensively exhibited nationally and internationally and he has won numerous awards for his work. |
