Artist Biography:

I am a realistic artist that enjoys painting animals, wildlife, southwestern and western scenes. I also do animal commissions. I am a signature member of the American Plains Artists. I show in numerous juried shows and have shown in the Celebration of the Arts for over twenty years. I am a native Texan and growing up in Amarillo instilled in me a love of nature and the outdoors.

Description of Artwork:

I began my journey in photography which I now use as a tool to capture my subject matter. I then use these references to create my oil paintings. I believe color and light are key elements for a successful painting.
