Description of Artwork:
My mosaics contain different mediums which includes vintage china, stained glass, beads, natural stones, glass mosaic tiles, wire and found objects. I’ve incorporated a few objects my dad found with his metal detector in some of my mosaics.
Artist Biography:
I’m originally from New Mexico but I’ve lived in Midland for the last thirty-three years. Some type of art has always been a part of my life. From doing ink drawings to making jewelry, I’ve explored different mediums of art.
About 4 years ago I started making mosaics. It isn’t a very common form of art but it’s very challenging and fun. Making mosaic mirrors seems to be my niche. I’ve also made other mosaics and will continue to do so in order to branch out and learn new and different techniques.
