Provides oversight of the organization’s financial health, governance practices, and long-term sustainability.
Members help guide budgeting, financial reporting, policies, and compliance, ensuring Midland Art Crawl operates with transparency, accountability, and integrity.
Accountants, financial professionals, attorneys, nonprofit leaders, or anyone passionate about stewardship and strong governance.
1 meeting per month + ~2 hours of review/prep time.
Shapes and strengthens Midland Art Crawl’s core programs and creative initiatives.
Members help evaluate existing programs (such as the Art Crawl and Artist Directory), develop new program concepts, and ensure offerings align with our mission, community impact goals, and organizational capacity.
Artists, educators, curators, cultural leaders, program managers, or thoughtful community members interested in arts access and impact.
3–5 hours per month.
Builds visibility, engagement, and financial support through storytelling, partnerships, and fundraising strategy.
Members support marketing initiatives, brand messaging, sponsorship outreach, donor engagement, and communications that grow awareness and resources for Midland Art Crawl and its programs
Marketers, fundraisers, writers, designers, relationship-builders, and strategic thinkers who care about local art and community growth.
3–5 hours per month, with occasional support around campaigns or events.
We ask board members to support fundraising efforts and consider an annual contribution appropriate to their means.
Board meets monthly; committees meet monthly or as needed.
Not at all — we welcome anyone passionate about arts and community.
Yes, if you have the capacity and interest.
Board terms are three years with the option to renew; committee roles are one-year commitments.
